First Session
The Wokingham Repair Café had its first LIVE session on Saturday. 68 items were processed between 10am and 1pm (last item acepted for repairing at 12:30)
Only 37% were not fixable.
We made a potential carbon saving of 876 kgCO2e on the items fixed.
We were visited by the Deputy Town Mayor for Wokingham, Cllr Rob Comber who brought his bike for repair. The gears had siezed, but repairer Simon Willis, pictured here, managed to free up and oil the gears, and replace the gear cable to get the bike up and running.
