#WokinghamRepairCafe✅ Today, I got a few repairs done for items we use at @mayasrefillables shop! As a founding member of the @wokinghamrepaircafe , it was actually a really pleasant experience to be on the other side of the table!
✅The registration process was smooth
✅ The coffee (in my reusable cup!) was good
✅ I only waited for about 5 min before being called to a repairer’s table
Got the following fixed:
- a 17 year old Miele whose power plug needed fixing
- a UBS cable for charging our phones!
But I could see people with lamps, clocks, electric mixers, radios, projectors, printers, clothes…
👍 Ran by volunteers, the Wokingham Repair café works with donations. A small donation is usually cheaper than buying new! You do not have to give anything but even a few pounds will keep this wonderful initiative alive!
