Going to Reading Festival this weekend? There’s a new act taking centre stage, the Reading Repairium - Brought to you by Berkshire Repair Cafes!
We are delighted to announce that local Berkshire Repair Cafes including Wokingham Repair Café are at the festival offering free repairs for broken camping gear including tents, air beds, clothing and all the essentials!!
Plus they are very kindly collecting donations for Berkshire Youth aiming to reduce Festival waste and keep the items in use and out of landfill.

The Reading and Leeds Festival Repairium is now open!
Volunteers from Repair Cafés across Berkshire - including some from Wokingham Repair Café - are joining forces to deliver a first for Reading Festival 2026: a dedicated onsite popup repair hub offering free fixes for festivalgoers and crew throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
Running from Thursday 27 August to Sunday 30 August, the new Reading Repairium will provide onthespot repairs for damaged camping gear, clothing and everyday essentials. Staffed by over 30 skilled volunteers, the initiative aims to keep hundreds of items in use and out of landfill while raising charity donations for Berkshire Youth, which helps to enhance young people’s wellbeing, confidence, and life chances across the county.
